Max 3.1, Mental ray and Illustrate plugin. Compositing in Photoshop. Won 2nd place @ animago award 2001, category Home/Still/Art.

This image was a vision of a day dream. I used Max 3.1 and Mental ray to get the nice look through global illumination, area shadows and the glowing eyes. It was my second time using Mental ray. With the Illustrate plugin I generated the fine black lines at the edges and for the final touch I used the level-adjustment and different layer combinations in Photoshop. With this picture I also won 2nd place at the animago award 2001, in the category Home/Still/Art.
